Celebrating Redruth Charity Trust’s Generosity and Community Spirit
We are really grateful to Redruth Charity Trust for awarding Fluxus Cornwall CIC a donation of £195 to enable us to purchase electronics equipment to expand our workshops for younger people. Our aim is to bring younger and older members of the community together through hands-on creative activities, and this funding will help us offer more activities to a broader group of people.
The Community Awards Celebration Evening, held last week at the Penventon Hotel, was a really positive event to honour the amazing work community groups are doing across Redruth. It was inspiring to hear about the efforts of so many groups that, like us, strive to make a difference in Redruth.
This year, over £9,000 was given to 35 local groups. Redruth is a really special town to be involved with and events like this are a good reminder of how much excellent work can be achieved by people working together.
