Igniting Creativity Through Innovation and Community

Fluxus Cornwall CIC is focused on creativity, invention, and collaboration, rooted in Redruth’s rich heritage of steam power and engineering. We bring people together from all walks of life to explore mechanisms, electronics, coding, and art through hands-on workshops and projects. Our mission is to inspire curiosity, share practical skills, and build a strong, inclusive community where ideas come to life and everyone can be a maker. Whether you’re an artist, a tinkerer, or simply curious, join us in shaping the future of Redruth – still powered by STEAM.
“Absolutely brilliant, inspiring and creative”
Weekly Invention Club
Invention Club is a weekly opportunity for people who want to make things together.
If you’re already working on something creative – or have a half-finished idea you want to bring to life – this is a space to get stuck in. We’ve got tools, materials, and a growing collection of equipment to support people with hands-on projects involving mechanics, electronics, model making, coding, crafts, and more.
We’re especially keen to hear from inventive adults with projects or skills to share – whether you’re into automata, arcade machines, or interactive contraptions. It’s collaborative, experimental, and volunteer-run.
Everyone over 11 is welcome, but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Join us on Wednesdays at 6:30–8:30pm at The Art Room in Redruth for our weekly invention sessions.
