Help us to plan what’s next

We’ve completed the first stage of our project to find out what works and what doesn’t. We want to get more feedback before we move to the next phase.

Here’s a quick summary of our goals for the project:

Overall project goals

• To work towards an interactive attraction in Redruth that features homemade games and automata for people to visit (to bring local people and visitors to the high street).
• To create a workshop space where community members can learn and share skills in a fun way while building amusements for the attraction.
• To create a workshop space where community members can work on their own projects, either with guidance or just making use of tools and space available.
• To give younger people the opportunity to learn practical skills and achieve qualifications in an entertaining way which is also helpful for the community.
• To give older retired people opportunities to share their wisdom and skills in a way that benefits the community and themselves.
• To have fun!
